Origin:
Once one of Heaven’s greatest archangels, Raphael was known as a guardian, a healer, and a messenger of the Creator’s will. But when the rebellion of Azazel spread, Raphael made a choice that altered his destiny forever. In his desperation to protect mankind, he acted without God’s command, disobeying the order to leave humanity to their free will. His defiance led to exile, and he descended to Earth, taking on mortal form as Dr. Charleston Warr.
For centuries, Warr lived in silence, burdened by guilt and the weight of separation from the Creator. Brilliant in intellect, he became a renowned doctor and scientist, but his heart longed for redemption. When Azazel’s corruption began to spread once more, threatening both Heaven’s order and Earth’s survival, Raphael fell to his knees. Breaking his silence, he prayed for help, a confession of weakness and a plea for grace.
God answered. Four divine crystals descended, each a fragment of His light. With them, Raphael created the Divine Ones — Ethan, Evan, Aiden, and Ma’knee — immortal guardians born to fight the unseen war. As their father and guide, Raphael found a renewed purpose: not only to stand against the Fallen, but to shepherd the children entrusted to him.
Role: Father and Mentor of the Divine Ones
Personality: Wise, compassionate, and burdened by past mistakes, Dr. Warr is a man of both brilliance and humility. He carries himself with authority, yet never forgets the humility that comes from his exile. As a father, he is deeply protective of the Divine Ones, treating them as more than creations, they are his children, his redemption, and his legacy. While his heart aches with the weight of his past, he is steadfast in ensuring his family has the strength to face the war ahead.
Main Power: Archangel’s Grace
• Though his power was diminished when he took human form, Raphael retains fragments of his archangelic abilities, divine healing, protective wards, and holy light capable of driving back lesser Fallen.
• In moments of extreme faith and focus, he can briefly awaken greater portions of his angelic strength, though never to the fullness of what he once was.
• Drawback: Each use of his grace takes a toll, accelerating his human frailty and reminding him that his exile has limits.
Secondary Power: Guidance of Light
• Warr does not wield crystal-born energy like his children, but he can channel their powers together — amplifying their synergy as a team.
Abilities & Traits:
• Brilliant doctor and scientist, blending divine knowledge with human intellect.
• Compassionate father figure, deeply invested in the growth of the Divine Ones.
• Wounded by regret, yet strengthened by faith.
• A strategist who understands both the ways of Heaven and the flaws of mankind.
What “Guidance of Light” Means
• Dr. Warr doesn’t generate the same crystal-born energy that his quadruplet children draw from (since they were literally forged with fragments of God’s eternal light).
• Instead, he acts as the conduit and guide. He can connect to his children’s powers and harmonize them, making them stronger together than they would be individually.
How It Works
1. Amplifier Role
• Think of Dr. Warr as a “living tuning fork” of divine energy. He doesn’t create the music, but he aligns and amplifies the instruments (his children).
• For example, if Evan teleports the team, Warr can stabilize the jump so it’s faster and safer.
2. Synergy Boost
• When two or more of his children combine abilities (like Aiden’s combat ferocity with Ma’knee’s healing), Warr’s Guidance of Light can multiply the effect and remove friction, letting them flow as if they were one being.
3. Tactical Edge
• He sees how powers interlock in ways they might not recognize. He can literally call plays in the middle of battle and then channel a pulse of divine energy to fuse their moves into one combined strike.
